On behalf of the committe I would like to thank everyone who helped to make the 2010 show a great success.
The combination of good weather and a variety of entertainment made for a fantastic day. The main attractions in the ring being the Kangaroo's Gymnastic Display Team and the Ambassadors of Barrowash marching band provided brilliant entertainment for spectators whilst in the exhibitor's marquee something a little more serene was going on.
BBC TV personality Christine Walkden gave answers to the audienes' gardening questions, floral designer Wendy Goodliff produced three beautiful arrangements, which were then raffled off. The final piece of entertainment inside the marquee was the local choir the Songbirds, who's renditions of world music was a welcome change.
